Candidate Pledge
I am seeking to run for office as a candidate of the United Kansas Party. In doing so, I make the following commitments:
To support and defend the Constitutions of the United States and the State of Kansas.
To support the Party’s statement of Principled Moderation as both a governing and a values-based ideology.
To abide by the Party’s Statement of Principles.
To work constructively with members of all parties while maintaining my independence and not formally aligning with another party’s legislative caucus.
To have read our Party’s Application of Principles and determine that it broadly reflects my views.
To represent the views and interests of my constituents consistent with the United States and Kansas Constitutions and the Party’s Principles.
To conduct myself in a manner consistent with the highest ethical standards.
I make this pledge in good faith to the people of Kansas and to the principles of responsible, principled leadership. I understand that the United Kansas Party may withdraw its endorsement if I knowingly violate these commitments.
I affirm this pledge as a condition of seeking and receiving the nomination or endorsement of the United Kansas Party.
