Show Up. Compete.
Change Kansas.
Our initial plan is to start small and build a foundation for principled moderation, beginning where change is both possible and urgent: the Kansas House of Representatives.
There are 125 House districts in Kansas, each with about 15,000 voters. If we flip just five seats in 2026, we can restore balance and ensure no party governs without meaningful opposition and accountability.
In 2024, 40 percent (50 seats) of House races went uncontested. That’s not democracy. That’s a system protecting itself. We’re not spoilers when the two parties can’t even be bothered to run against each other. What we see isn’t a spoiler movement. It’s an opening.
Map shows the 50 (32R, 18D) unopposed House districts in 2024.
The United Kansas Plan
-
Build a New Party for Moderates
United Kansas is built for Kansans tired of political extremes and one-party dominance, and ready for a more balanced, practical approach to governing.
-
Offer a Clear, Principled Set of Beliefs
Not vague middle-ground mush. We believe in moderation with a backbone. A practical, optimistic philosophy rooted in Kansas values and committed to thoughtful, common-sense leadership.
-
Compete Where Voters Lack a Choice
We focus on Kansas House districts where voters had no real choice in the last election, along with select statewide races where competition is missing. Every Kansan deserves a meaningful option on the ballot.
-
Restore Balance in Topeka
Our near-term goal is simple and achievable: elect enough independent, pragmatic voices to ensure no party governs without accountability.
-
It’s About Balance, Not Sides
We are not here to help one party beat the other. We are here to ensure that no party can govern without meaningful opposition and accountability. That is how we get leadership that listens, works across differences, and reflects the full range of Kansans it serves.
-
Build a Statewide Grassroots Movement
We are organizing Kansans across the state who believe in practical solutions, civic decency, and leadership that reflects how most people actually live and think.
